Is Forza Horizon 6 in development?

Forza Horizon 5 debuted late last year but it looks like the developer Playground Games is already in the process of working a Forza Horizon 6. Although the development of what is likely to become the next installment of the series is still in the pipeline early stagesit looks like Playground is already on looking for staff.

Forza Horizon 6 in development?

Forza Horizon 6 appeared in a new job ad recently released by Playground Games. According to the announcement, the studio is currently looking for a level designer; the description states that this role is associated with the Forza Horizon team of the company. Additionally, this work will specifically “be part of the level design team on our next AAA title, responsible for creating fun and playable gaming experiences,” it reads.

The fact that Playground has pointed out that the person hired will be working on the “next AAA title” seems to guarantee that this game will become the new Forza Horizon.

Seen the huge success obtained from Forza Horizon 5, it’s no surprise that Xbox and Playground are already thinking about a new chapter. In its first week alone, Xbox reported that 10 million people in total have played the title on all platforms for which it is available. It was the biggest release in the history of the Xbox as a whole.

Of course, with the arrival of Forza Horizon 6, Microsoft will be forced to leave Xbox One behind. Forza Horizon 5 debuted on all Microsoft consoles, including Xbox One; however, it seems that the new chapter will only be available on Xbox Series X e Series S e PC.
