John Wick: The Saga Continues

John Wick, the famous saga with Keanu Reeves will not end with the fourth film, but will have several spin-offs and also a fifth film: let’s find out the details together

We had talked about it in these pages, of the confirmation of Lionsgate, that the John Wick saga would have had a spin-off and it is the TV series The Continental. But after the latest film, the fourth which was a blockbuster, comes the confirmation that not only are more spin-offs planned, but that a fifth film is also planned.

John Wick: The Saga Continues

The first spin-off expected is Ballerina which will be released next year, while the other project that we will soon see will be The Continental series. Now there is also the confirmation of the film, news that is not obvious given the ending that the fourth and last film had, which concerns the protagonist. We don’t want to reveal too many details to those who haven’t seen it yet, but the production house will certainly be able to impress with the fifth film and it will all be a surprise.

If we have confirmation that the protagonist Keanu Reeves will be in the film Ballerina, starring Ana De Armas, we do not know if his presence is confirmed for the other projects in the saga. Ballerina is considered a sort of prequel to the saga, in which the protagonist will be a ruthless killer a bit like in the original chapters with John Wick. Similarly The Continental series will also step back in time and be a prequel set in the 70s with the characters Winston and Charon as young people.

John Wick is therefore becoming a real saga or rather Universe, as happens with the most famous franchises such as Marvel, DC but also that of Harry Potter, built around many satellite and autonomous projects.
