The filming of Joker: Folie à Deuxwhich are on everyone’s lips and leaked on various social channels with hundreds of stolen clips, they have officially officially found a conclusion. After almost daily updates on the progress of work on the set, both official and unofficial, director Todd Phillips announced – as usual with a post on Instagram – the end of filming. Then begins the long post-production process of the project, whose debut in theaters is scheduled for October 4, 2024.

In recent weeks, literally everything has been leaked from the set of Joker: Folie à Deux and now fans are preparing for a long wait, hoping to see new promotional materials soon, at least until the release of the film which promises to be crackling. It was Phillips himself who granted two last shots to his followers, who accompanied the post of the announcement of the end of shooting with two photos of the Joker and Harley Quinn.

The end of the filming of Joker: Folie à Deux

The upcoming film will have the features of a musical, a choice that on the one hand has made some turn up their noses but which on the other will give Lady Gaga the opportunity to try her hand at her favorite field and perhaps replicate the success of A Star Is Born. The plot should revolve around the love story between the Joker and Harley Quinn, who shouldn’t be a psychiatrist but a patient of theArkham Asylum.

In the cast, in addition to Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, we find Zazie Beetz (already protagonist of the first chapter), Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, Harry Lawtey e Brendan Gleesonrecently nominated for an Oscar for Island Spirits. In announcing the end of filming on Joker: Folie à Deux, Todd Phillips thanked the cast, especially the protagonists, announcing the long post-shoot retreat.
