JVC announces the availability in Italy of the new LX-NZ30 4K/HDR video projector with gaming support. Low latency, 3,300 lumens brightness and 20,000 hour runtime for extremely rich video content

Presented at CES 2023! JVCKENWOOD Corporation’s new LX-NZ30 4K/HDR projector with support for gaming up to 1080p/240Hz expands the company’s range of projectors and is now available in the Italian market. Ideal for gaming thanks to high frame rates and home theater. THEThe new model offers a high resolution of 4K/3840 x 2160 pixels and is equipped with a new high power BLU-Escent laser technology light source. This delivers a brightness of 3,300 lumens, as well as ensuring an operating life of 20,000 hours. Also, both HDR10 and HLG formats supported with automatic picture mode selection.

Details on the JVC LX-NZ30 video projector now available in Italy

The lighting system is based on JVC’s BLU-Escent laser technology capable of ensuring high performance. This is thanks to the 105W blue diode laser which replaces the previous 95W version allowing to reach a higher brightness of 3,300 lumens. 10% more than the previous model (LX-NZ3). The high brightness allows the projector to be used in rooms with diffuse ambient lighting. As well as improving peak brightness when viewing HDR content offering images with a wider dynamic range. In addition, HDR content can be projected with sharp, higher quality and dynamic images. In addition to the HDR 10 format adopted in ULTRA HD Blu-rayTM, it also supports the HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) standard used in television broadcasting. The projector automatically switches to the mode that guarantees the best playback quality based on the detected signal.

Ideal for gaming

The LX-NZ30 projector supports input up to 1080P/240Hz with ultra-low latency as low as 6.25ms*1. Thus, it allows users to enjoy game content with a much higher frame rate than conventional projectors. This results in the smoothest playback ever on the largest projection screens, making it ideal for gaming. JVC’s new projector is compatible with many devices, thanks to its connectivity: in addition to two HDMI 2.2 inputs, it has a DisplayPort 1.2a input for direct connection to PCs, USB Direct Connect, RS232C and LAN control ports and a 12V Trigger port.

JVC LX-NZ30 projector: high performance dynamic light intensity control

The new LX-NZ30 features High performance Dynamic Dimming Control (HDDC) technology to instantly adjust the light output of the laser light source. Offering dynamic dimming with less lag than a conventional mechanical aperture. By controlling the laser output according to the brightness of the scene, black levels are improved and the projector can reproduce images closer to human visual perception.

Easy to install

The “Lens shift” function (optical shift) allows lens adjustment with a wide range of translations (±60% vertically, ±23% horizontally). In addition to a 1.6x zoom, it allows projections from a distance of approximately 3m to 4.8m for a screen size of 100 inches, and greater installation flexibility. In addition, the LX-NZ30 comes with several other new adjustment features: corner adjustment allows you to adjust to all four corners, while warping corrects distortion for each area. In combination with the lens adjustment provided by the lens shift, it is thus possible to carry out the installation with a high degree of flexibility.

Availability and price

These features combined with the compact dimensions of the product, approximately 405 mm (15 7/8″) wide and approximately 341 mm (13 1/16″) deep, offer a high adaptability. Allowing for a really easy and versatile installation that meets everyone’s space needs. Equipped with a 0.47-inch DMDTM chip and four-way e-shift technology, the LX-NZ30 offers high-resolution (4K) video display with over 8 million addressable pixels. The new LX-NZ30 video projector will be available from May in two colors – black and white – at a price of €3,699.99.
