A step away from the launch, scheduled for tomorrow 21 September, Ember Lab has officially announced that the Photo Mode will be available in Kena: Bridge of Spirits
The month of September is coming to an end, as well as the many videogame releases that have seen it present. From NBA 2K22 to Lost in Random, from Tales of Arise to Life is Strange: True Colors, from Deathloop to… Kena? Yes, tomorrow, September 21, is finally the launch day of one of the most anticipated titles of this hellish month. After numerous postponements and many worries, the video game by Ember Lab is ready to appear on PC, PS4 and PS5, and the company has also shown a very interesting launch trailer in the past few hours. In short, now we are! Although we are in the process of release, Ember Lab continues to divulge new information on the title. Via the PlayStation Blog, in the past few hours the presence of a Photo Mode has been officially confirmed.
Among other things, it will be slightly different than usual, in the sense that it will provide gamers with one or two atypical functions. Instead of the classic Photo Mode, where you can simply freeze time to capture a freeze of what’s going on in the game, in Kena we will be able to use the characters as real models in the photos. By moving the camera in Photo Mode, in fact, the characters will turn to look at it and we can also move them and change their position. On the occasion, Sony PlayStation has also disclosed an additional trailer for Kena: Bridge of Spirits, starring the Photo Mode, which we leave you below.
Additionally, Kena’s Photo Mode will also be available a “Cheese” function, with which, once the camera is positioned in the best possible way, you can give the command to the various characters to pose. The poses will be numerous and varied between character and character. Thomas Varga, producer at Ember Lab, said about Photo Mode:
Developing the Photo Mode and the “Cheese” feature were interesting animation opportunities for us at Ember Lab. Not only does this feature introduce another fun element for gamers, it also allowed us to showcase the characters’ personalities by developing each. unique pose.
