Kinds of Kindness, Emma Stone nel primo teaser

Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos return to work on the episodic film Kinds of Kindness, of which we present the first teaser in Italian

Fresh from the Oscar for Poor Creatures!, Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe and Yorgos Lanthimos they return to the big screen with a bizarre new project. The film is titled Kinds of Kindness and the cast will also include Margaret Qualley and Jesse Plemons. To the rhythm of Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), supported by Annie Lennox, we present the first teaser trailer in Italian of the film, in cinemas soon. Below is the synopsis.

Kinds of Kindness is a tale in three acts: a man with no choice trying to take control of his life; a policeman worried that his wife who disappeared at sea has returned and seems like a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific person with a special ability, destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.

Kinds of Kindness: the first teaser of the new film by Yorgos Lanthimos

This Kinds of Kindness should not be confused with the announced one Save the Green Planet, a remake of the Korean feature film that Yorgos Lanthimos will entrust to the interpretation of Emma Stone, fresh winner of the Oscar as best leading actress for Poor Creatures! (which also won statuettes for make-up and hairstyles, sets and costumes). Kinds of Kindness is the new title of a smaller and lower-cost project, originally titled AND, with a less elaborate staging than the director's latest stylistic evolutions, at least according to Dafoe, who told Indiewire about getting slapped twenty times by Emma Stone to get into character.

But which characters are these? Kinds of Kindness, which will be in American theaters from June 21st, weaves together three different stories, where four or five cast members play a different role in each. The screenplay was written by Lanthimos with one of his regular collaborators, Efthimis Filippou.
