Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning – Fatesworn, here is the release date

In the past few hours, THQ Nordic and KAIKO have announced the release date of Fatesworn, the DLC of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning

It was back in 2012 when Electronic Arts and 38 Studios published Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning on the “current generation” consoles PS3 and Xbox 360, a really interesting and multifaceted action-jrpg, which however did not have the expected sequel and was a resounding commercial flop. In 2018, the rights to the franchise were acquired by THQ Nordic, who released a remastered version in 2020 on PS4 and Xbox One and, in 2021, on Nintendo Switch. A remastered rather lazy and without bite and on which too much dust had settled, but that had nevertheless made us put our hands back on a great little pearl of the past that, we admit, we had missed. On the occasion of the announcement of the remastered, THQ Nordic claimed to be also working on a DLC for Re-Reckoning, called Fatesworn.

In the past few hours, the publisher together with KAIKO, the development team that took care of the remastered, announced that Fatesworn will be officially released on PS4 and Xbox One on December 14th. At a budget price of € 19.99, Fatesworn will be standalone and will also be included in the Fate Edition, currently priced at € 54.99. On this occasion, THQ Nordic has also released a new trailer, which we leave you right below.

Kingdoms of Amalur: all the news of Fatesworn, in addition to the release date

The story again follows the Unfaithful as he ventures into the ultimate fight against the Niskaru and the forces of Chaos. Along with the new map, called Mithros (consisting of tundras and caves), a new city, Crownhold, has also been added for you to explore. In addition to that, KAIKO has arranged 25 new Chaos dungeons in each region of the game, that create procedurally generated challenges. The main Quest will take you about six hours in total, but consider that the level cap has been raised to 50, new Cards, side and faction missions, new enemies and 21 new weapons and shields have been added. In short, there is really a lot of stuff to see.

We therefore remind you that the release date of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning – Fatesworn is currently set for December 14, less than two weeks from today.
