Let’s discover the weapons of Sniper Elite 5

Rebellion is pleased to show, through the publication of a video, new insights dedicated to Sniper Elite 5 and his weapons. Are you curious to learn more about the weapons present in the game and the incredible customization options available to the player? Let’s not waste any more time then!

Sniper Elite 5 weapons

The new Spotlight released online, Weapons & Customization, also reveals the steps that the Rebellion team takes to recreate the authentic weapons down to the smallest detail!

Technically, Rebellion teamed up with famed military historian and star of the Combat Dealers TV show, Bruce Crompton. But also with the Imperial War Museum and the Royal Armories Museum. The goal of these collaborations was to acquire thousands of reference images and audio recordings of WWII weapons and vehicles to ensure maximum authenticity. Thanks to the published video, we can in fact see how the level of detail obtained is the result of meticulous work.

The customizations

Sniper Elite 5 offers a level of customization never seen before in the franchise. Players can change a weapon’s iron stock, magazine, receiver, barrel and sights as well as materials. This allows the player to fine-tune their weapons to better suit their style of play, be it stealth and methodical, run and gun, or a mix of the two. Customization options can also be accessed during the game when the player discovers the workbenches in the maps. These in turn will unlock additional customization options.

Exit date

Sniper Elite 5 will be available on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 4 and 5, Epic, Steam and Windows Store starting froml May 26, 2022.

For players who will pre-order the game, there is an additional mission from the Target Führer campaign titled “Wolf Mountain”. Additionally, a Deluxe Edition is also available, which will include Season Pass One and the P.1938 Suppressed Pistol for pre-orders.
