Despite expert advice, too many users keep reusing the same password thus putting their online data at risk. The data clearly emerges from a Techradar survey. According to the survey, in fact, more than 60% of respondents reuse passwords across multiple accounts, going to compromise what is the first level of defense of their online data.

According to the responses, 40% of users choose this approach because he doesn’t want to remember passwords anymore. About 27%, on the other hand, do not feel in danger and, for this reason, opt for a “comfortable” solution. It should be noted that as many as 65% of users prefer to rely on personal passwords instead of generating new ad hoc passwords using any password generator.

Note that there is some care in distinguishing personal and work accounts. 34% of the interviewees, in fact, confirm that they do not use the same access keys for personal and work accounts, separating the two. 20%, on the other hand, underline how often this distinction is not made.
