Marriages in Fire Emblem Engage: changes to the romance system, S-rank supports and everything you need to know

Although Fire Emblem Engage for Nintendo Switch has turned to the combat part, the game continues to include important social functions… although with various changes. Many players are wondering if you can get married in the game.

The truth is that some things have changed and simplified in terms of marriages. Fire Emblem Engage allows you to get married, although the game does not call it that at any time. This is what you should know about it:

Marriages in Fire Emblem Engage: changes to the romance system, S-rank supports and everything you need to know

In Fire Emblem Engage there are no marriages as such, nor scenes of romance. Simply, with a certain level of confidence we can offer a ring to a character to form a greater bond with him or her.

All characters are available to do this (which is only allowed once per game). All you have to do is pass a series of requirements. You must first reach Relationship Rank A on the character you want to marry.

To do this, you must give him presents that match his tastes. These can be viewed on the corresponding relationship page in the menu. You will also improve your relationship with said character in combat and eating with this or this one.

Once you complete this you must advance a lot in the story, until the chapter 22at which point a optional detour called Garden of Memories. This will allow you to get the Covenant Ring. Be careful because it has a complicated combat.

When you have obtained the Pact Ring you must return to the Somniel and go to your chambers. In the nightstand that could not be opened now you can find this ring. Once it is in your power it is time to look for your partner.

Now look for the character with whom you have an A relationship to be able to offer it to him. This will generate a new conversation and an extra page in the relationship book, as well as a great improvement in the bond between the two of you.
