Marvel Snap: new cards of the Quantum Kingdom season (Ant-Man and the Wasp) and how to get them

Marvel Snap starts its second season of 2023 (remember that they are monthly) theming it with the premiere of Marvel Studios this month, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

It will last between February 7, 2023 and on March 6, 2023four weeks in total (January was five).

The February season of Marvel Snap is called Into the Quantum Realm!, and as always, it comes with an exclusive card that you can only get if you buy the paid season pass, which costs 10,99 euros(or 16.99 for Premium+, which automatically advances the season pass 10 levels).

This card is MODOK, one of the villains that we will see in the movie Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania starting February 17, although the season adds new cards to Series 5 and new variants inspired by the quantum world and in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

In this Marvel Snap guide we break down the new cards and variants of the game and which of them you can get without paying.

Into the Quantum Realm: The New Marvel Snap Cards in February 2023

The star card of the season pass is M.O.D.O.K. This is the card that you will get as soon as you buy the premium season pass, at level 1, so you can start using it immediately. At level 50 you will get a premium exclusive variant of MODOK.

MODOK has 5 cost and 8 power, and an effect When Revealed: discard your hand.

These exclusive Season Pass cards will be out of reach if you don’t use real money, but only for a month.

As of the following season, the exclusive card of the previous Pass Enter Pool 5which means that you can get it from the collector’s reserves by raising the collection level or by buying it from the token shop.

What is exclusive premium are the three variants of the season pass: Ant-Man Steampunk at level 18, steampunk wasp at 34 and MODOK KILLER at level 50.

New cards from Pool 5

In addition to MODOK, three new cards are added to the game, which go into Pool 5.

  • Ghost (1-2): Continuous, your cards are always revealed last (their effects when revealed activate last)
  • Stature (5-7): Costs 1 more if your opponent discarded a card in that game.
  • Kang (5-0): When Revealed: Observe your opponent’s play and restart the turn without Kang

These three cards will be added to Pool 5 on February 14, 21, and 28, respectively. This week, on February 7, the card being added is Zabu…which is the exclusive card from the previous season’s pass.
