Microsoft is ready to give up on the project HoloLens 3. These are the latest rumors revealed by Business Insider, according to which the company would not intend to carry on the work on its viewer. The news released by Business Insider does not seem to leave room for misunderstandings. Microsoft has chosen to abandon the HoloLens 3 project. Yet Frank Shaw, spokesman for the tech giant, said that this is not really the case, calling it rather a “critical part of the plans [dell’azienda] for emerging categories such as mixed reality and the metaverse “. And adding, “We remain committed to HoloLens and the future development of HoloLens.” A statement that leaves us rather dumbfounded. On the other hand, employees of the mixed reality department have stated that some “factions” are trying to figure out which workspace to focus on, which means that Microsoft has more projects under its belt.
