Milan Design Week: Silk FAW unveils the new S9 hypercar

The new ultra-luxury hypercar is an excellent compromise between elegance and sustainability. The plug-in hybrid engine allows the car to reach a top speed of 400 km / h. Here’s how the brand presented the model on the occasion of Milan Design Week.

Milan Design Week 2021: Silk FAW presents S9

Silk FAW’s new ultra-luxury Hypercar is called S9, and is officially presented at the preview at Milan Design Week 2021. The vehicle, which promises excellent performance without sacrificing sustainability, is the result of a project by Walter De Silva and produced in Italy.

The plug-in hybrid engine allows the Hypercar to reach and exceed 400km / h, with an acceleration of 0-100km / h in 1.9 seconds. In short, incredible results if you take into account the hybrid nature of the vehicle.

The presentation mode is also very interesting. In fact, visitors to Milan Design Week will be able to discover the model through a unique and immersive experience. The journey begins with four installations, designed by the architecture students of YACademy of Bologna, who worked under the guidance of the famous architect and designer Michele De Lucchi and of the AMDL CIRCLE studio. At the base of the journey to discover the car, there is a whole creative concept, which fully reflects the idea and design adopted by Silk FAW.

S9: high performance, design and sustainability

“The new S9 is the symbol of a new future in which high performance and design are perfectly combined with innovation and attention to sustainability” he says Katia Bassi, Managing Director of Silk FAW. “We are thrilled to unveil our stunning Hypercar at a major global design event. Silk-FAW is committed to supporting young people and new generations by creating an environment where everyone can work together and in harmony. For us it is a matter of pride to see how the students of the YACademy have managed to represent the company’s values and objectives in installations and works of art, and we are pleased to be able to offer them a platform that allows them to enhance and publicly display their work. “.

The Silk FAW installation at Milan Design Week is open from 10.00 to 18.00 from 5 to 10 September at the Spazio Quattrocento, Via Tortona 31, Milan.
