Monster Hunter has become one of Capcom’s biggest franchises in recent years and has enjoyed great success on almost every platform on which it was released (since its very early days on PlayStation 2). Well-known gaming journalist Tom Henderson said, in a report published on Insider-Gaming, that Monster Hunter Rise will come up PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 e Xbox One and will also be available via Game Pass. The base game will launch on these platforms on January 20, 2023while expanding Sunbreak will follow in spring 2023.

On current-gen consoles, the game will presumably run at 4K e 60 FPSwhile theaudio 3D. The announcement is expected shortly: Henderson said that probably the latter will take place on the occasion of The Game Awards of 8 December. Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak are currently available on Nintendo Switch and PC. As of September 30, Rise has sold over 11 million units, while Sunbreak has shipped 4.4 million copies.
