Time to warm up the engines on the starting grid: MotoGP 22 is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). The release is scheduled for April 21, 2022, for what is proposed as the most realistic game of the saga. Let’s take a look at the trailer before we find out more.

Here are some of the new features of the new title:

• (NINE) Season 2009: an unprecedented mode that will allow players to relive the 2009 season, one of the most unforgettable in the history of MotoGP. It will be possible to wear the helmets of legendary riders such as Rossi, Pedrosa, Stoner and Lorenzo to replicate – or why not, even subvert – history.
• New tutorial system: revised and improved with a series of short play sessions with custom rules. A great tool for learning the basics before trying your hand at overtaking on the track.
• MotoGP Academy: Specific challenges based on the technical side of racing: electronics, tire wear, brake temperatures. In short, indispensable tools in the strategies that lead to the victory of a Grand Prix.
• Adaptive Difficulty System: the game itself will determine your skill level, advising you to increase or decrease the difficulty according to your performance.
• Ride Height Device: it will now be possible to manually manage the locking mechanism and control the compression of the motorcycle’s suspension
• Multiplayer also locally: it comes split screen for local two-player games (except on Switch) as well as the ability to play online multiplayer.
• Managerial career: create your team and lead it to success through targeted strategies.

In general the title aims to carry the realism on a higher level, with improved 3D face, surface and character animations. But this feature is not limited to the aesthetic sector, on the contrary. The new suspension system and tire deformation are variables that affect play. For example, the wake will now affect the temperature of the tires and brakes. Finally, it will be possible to play with over 120 drivers on more than 20 circuitsand obviously there will be no shortage of historic motorcycles to feel like a legend.
