Mummies – A walk through time is the new animated film for the whole family directed by Juan Jesús García, from today February 23 in cinemas in all theaters distributed by Warner Bros. For the Spanish director it is also a directorial debut, after having worked as art director on other animated films like this one mixed fun with historical narrative. Among his works are The Adventures of Taddeus the Explorer and Taddeus Jones: Return of the Hero.
It’s about a very funny story, which mixes laughter with the most educational aspect, linked precisely to the plot and the context in which the characters find themselves. A perfect film to plan a weekend of cinema fun with the little ones.
A journey into the entertaining adventures of three ancient Egyptian mummies who live underground in a secret city, hidden in ancient Egypt. The trio consists of a princess, a former charioteer and her younger brother, as well as their pet crocodile. Through a series of unfortunate events, the mummies find themselves in present-day London and embark on a bizarre yet incredible adventure in search of an old ring, belonging to the Royal Family and stolen by a cunning archaeologist.
