My Hero Academia: confirmed the season 7 of the anime!

Season 7 of the My Hero Academia anime was confirmed in the latest issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump: let’s find out all the details together in this dedicated article

While the One Piece Red film has arrived exclusively on Prime Video, fans of My Hero Academia can also rejoice. After a killer sixth season, the hugely popular anime has been renewed for a seventh season. The news came via the latest issue of Shueisha’s weekly magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump, although there hasn’t been a real official confirmation from Bones or the director, Kenji Nagasaki.

The last episode of the sixth season of My Hero Academia will air this week and, in issue 17 of Shueisha magazine, the creators thanked the fans for the extreme support poured into the franchise over the years. The issue then goes on to confirm the decision by the production to continue with a seventh season. Official confirmation will probably come during AnimeJapan, the event to be held in Tokyo on March 25 and 26 (and in which we will also have new information on the animated series announced in recent days by Atelier Ryza).

My Hero Academia Renewed for Season 7: Coming Soon at AnimeJapan!

The My Hero Academia series has been quite prolific over the last few years in the production of new seasons, never taking even a year off. Considering the precedents, fans expect My Hero Academia season 7 sometime in 2024, but it’s still to be confirmed. The sixth season will conclude the Dark Hero arc and, considering the subsequent content of the manga, the seventh should animate the Star and Stripe Arc, the UA Traitor Arc and, perhaps, arrive at the Final War Arc.

We will find out more information about season 7 of My Hero Academia probably at AnimeJapan 2023, which will be held, as already mentioned, on March 25 and 26.
