Laura Delli Colli, President of the National Board of Film Journalists (SNGCI) pointed out:
The Nastri Grandi Serie, an event by Italian Film Journalists created with the support of the MiC – Directorate General for Cinema, in collaboration with the Film Commission of the Campania Region, has demonstrated since the first edition that it has turned the spotlight on the production of a series that arises from great artistic and technical professionalism of the cinema and continues to make the industry and Italian talents protagonists on the international market. It is no coincidence that the Nastri Grandi Series were born in the Region that boasts the most interesting ferment of national fiction, also for originality and innovation: a necessary attention considering the quality of the results and the industrial importance that is also found in employment and in the professional growth of specialized workers who are increasingly appreciated also by international co-producers. It is a result that the Film Journalists have decided to enhance by now on a permanent basis by announcing today, on the eve of the launch of a national campaign to support cinemas, that the Nastri d’Argento will support #soloinsala cinema, with the 77th edition not only with expressions of constant solidarity but also in deeds, excluding from the selection titles that are not exclusively born for cinemas.
Look Fiore, President of the Campania Region Film CommissionInstead, he commented:
We are happy to collaborate again this year with the Syndicate of Film Journalists in the organization of this prestigious event. Naples and Campania as a whole are confirmed as protagonists of the audiovisual sector, not only nationally, for the wealth of talents, the charm of the places, the creative and productive ferment that continues to give life to some of the greatest successes of the great seriality of recent seasons. Witness the decision of the Syndicate to award the Ribbon of the Year to ‘Mare fuori’, the series set in a Neapolitan juvenile institution that has broken all audience and viewing records, conquering new audiences and new markets. The growing number and quality of major series made every year in Campania indicates that the demand for strongly identifying contents has been effectively welding with the action of our Film Commission and the Campania Region which puts audiovisual and digital innovation at the center for regional development, cultural and tourist promotion policies.
