Netflix renews Dahmer and The Watcher: new seasons for Ryan Murphy

Ryan Murphy is undoubtedly the man of the moment at Netflix. After the extraordinary success of the series on Jeffrey Dahmer, the director has also confirmed himself with The Watcher, a series based on the true story of the Broaddus family, haunted by a disturbing stalker when he bought his new home. The two series, especially Dahmer, have had a great success, collecting a very high number of views and getting the renewal for new seasons. The Watcher will return with a second season, Dahmer even with two others, but it will become an anthological production, entitled Monster, centered on other ruthless serial killers. Ryan Murphy is ready to be the protagonist again.

What to expect from the next seasons of Murphy’s series on Netflix

The story of the Brannocks at the end of The Watcher has left some chinks for a second season, but it is also possible that Murphy closes the story there and tells another one, perhaps once again centered on the persecution of a stalker.
