During the Nintendo Direct aired last night The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was also shown with a new trailer, which also showed the Collector’s Edition
Last night’s Nintendo Direct, after a particularly flat start, managed to bounce back over its 40-minute run throwing many surprises into the Nintendo cauldron. The main and perhaps the most hoped-for announcement is obviously the arrival of the Virtual Console for GameBoy and GameBoy Advance through the Nintendo Switch Online service, but we know very well that you too, until the end, said “it’s not possible, there must be by force”. And indeed, at the very end, he too has arrived: Tears of the Kingdom.
In fact, “the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” returned to the stage of Nintendo’s live broadcast last night with a new (aesthetically) impressive trailer. In addition to new video material and images (Nintendo showed 27 new screenshots of the game), the Collector’s Edition was also unveiled which you can already pre-order. It will cost €129.99 and includes, in addition to the physical version of the game, an Artbook, a Steelbook, a metal poster and a set of four pins. We leave you the trailer right below.
The price of the Standard Edition has also been confirmed, rising by €10, reaching the psychological threshold of €70, as already rumored yesterday. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is, according to some reports, initially born as an idea for a Breath of the Wild DLC, but then it took on its own identity and was expanded, in a literal sense. Let’s admit that graphically and aesthetically speaking, considering that it is software that will have to run on Nintendo Switch (a hardware that is not exactly performing and in step with the times) it really seems like a miracle.
A collector’s edition of The Legend of #Zelda: #TearsOfTheKingdom will be released on 12/05. Please check with your local retailers for information on availability. pic.twitter.com/CzTfksYkBi
