On-demand recharging is coming with Enel X Way and E-Gap

The ondemand recharge on holiday this year is there with Enel X Way ed E-Gap. This makes buying an electric car and planning a trip even easier. Those who have an electric car, in addition to the Enel X Way charging infrastructure network, will be able to book fast on-demand recharging through the JuicePass app and an E-GAP van will reach the vehicle even in the absence of the owner.

Directly from JuicePass and receive a fast recharge in a few minutes in the place where the electric car is located. This is a unique service of its kind. This facilitates the spread of electric mobility in areas where the tourist presence increases the number of electric vehicles in circulation “.

Enel X Way and E-Gap bring on-demand recharging to holidays.

Today there are over 16,000 recharging points that Enel X Way has built in Italy, this is the largest national infrastructure network available to electricians. In addition to the charging stations owned by Enel X Way, another 13,000 points are added, available through interoperability agreements.

The charging power of the E-GAP van is equal to a fast type column, currently over 50kW and will soon reach 100kW. E-GAP is developing its presence in Europe. France, Spain and Germany are already manned, with an expansion of its fleet of vehicles used for the on-demand electric charging service which will reach 100 new e-vans by the year, with the goal of 500 by 2024.

Enel X Way is the Enel Group’s new global business line dedicated to electric mobility. Currently, there are approximately 350,000 recharging points that Enel X Way manages directly and through interoperability agreements developed around the world. As a global platform for e-mobility, the company is focused on developing flexible charging technologies and solutions to improve the customer experience by supporting the electrification of transport for consumers, businesses, cities and public administrations.

E-GAP is the first urban, mobile and on-demand fast charging service. Through the smartphone app of the same name, E-GAP allows you to receive a “fast charge” level recharge at home, carried out by means of a zero-emission e-van. Active in Milan, Rome, Bologna and Turin, and present in Paris and Madrid, it will soon be available also in Germany. E-GAP was founded by the Chairman and main shareholder Eugenio de Blasio, one of the pioneers of the Green Economy sector, former CEO and top manager of Nasdaq listed groups and by Global CEO Daniele Camponeschi, Chief Investment Officer in leading financial groups .
