After We have only crime and Return to crime, Once Upon a Time in Crime, the third chapter of Massimiliano Bruno’s successful comic saga, will be released in theaters on 10 March. Pending the release of the film, the official trailer.

New dive into the past for the unlikely gang of criminals formed by Moreno (Marco Giallini), Giuseppe (Gian Marco Tognazzi) and Claudio (Giampaolo Morelli). The three will go back up to 1943 to attempt the company to steal the Gioconda from the hands of the French. As usual, the company will take a surreal turn among a thousand ups and downs and misadventures.

Within the cast we will also see Carolina Crescentiniwho will play Adele, the young grandmother of Moreno, Ilenia Pastorelli, Edoardo Leo in the role of the fearsome Renatino, Giulia Bevilaqua and Massimiliano Bruno himself. The film will take the three protagonists for a walk in Italy afflicted by the Second World War and will make them cross paths with characters who have made the history of our country: from Sandro Pertini to Benito Mussolini and King Vittorio Emanuele.

What happened in the first two chapters

Waiting to see the third chapter of the saga at the cinema, let’s retrace the events of the first two films. In the first film, We just have to crime, the three friends Moreno, Sebastiano and Giuseppe accidentally find a temporal gap that brings them back to the 1982 and, taking advantage of their football knowledge, they try to make money on betting. However, things precipitate when they come into conflict with Renatino, the leader of the Magliana gang, with whom they are in debt. After a series of ups and downs, the three manage to get away with it and go back to their time, but Renatino follows them in 2018.

In the second chapter, therefore, Return to crime, the three friends try to recover the gang’s treasure, while Renatino continues to follow them to take revenge. However, new troubles arise for the improvised gang of criminals who find themselves dealing with another group of criminals. As usual, after a series of adventures the three manage to get by and now we will see, in the third chapter of the saga, the protagonists struggling with the theft of the Mona Lisa and with the Second World War.
