With today’s chapter of One Piece, we have reached the final part of the longest saga ever, with Kaido ending, together with Big Mom, immersed in the magma of the subsoil. Yuji Kaku’s new job Ayashimon closed prematurely

Luffy falls lifeless and without strength, caught in the air by Yamato. His mission is accomplished: Kaido returns to his human form, and our captain’s fist sent him underground, where there is a lake of magma.

Thus ends the war of Wano, in the chapter 1050 by One Piece. Oda had announced that it would be the longest saga ever made, and it did. Now he awaits the epilogue, hoping for new revelations, perhaps through the reading of Claw Grip.

The Mugiwara and their allies can now rejoice: the battle is over, the remaining Kaido pirates quickly forced to surrender. The fate of the two Emperors, Kaido and Big Mom is uncertain: both are shown completely immersed in the boiling lava, but we know that they are hard bones, and they could survive it.

The craters created by the Emperors and the fall of Onigashima seem to have created tectonic imbalances in Wano, and the result is the eruption of an underwater volcano, which causes panic among the inhabitants. But the arrival of Momonosuke and of the Red Sheaths brings back the order, ready to announce the change of regime for the samurai island.

Not only One Piece: Ayashimon’s conclusion

Ayashimon is the new manga by Yuji Kaku, already the author of the excellent Jigokuraku: Hell’s Paradise, whose anime is coming later this year. The author is also known to have worked side by side with Tatsuki Fujimotoone of the most promising names in recent years.

For all these reasons, fans had followed Kaku’s new title with interest. But, apparently, the author’s fame wasn’t enough to keep interest alive in a work that soon turned out to be yet another uninspired shonen on yokai.

Shueisha he has no mercy for titles that don’t perform, and has forced the series to end to just twenty-five chapters. The ending is hasty and without a real conclusion, with the author who seems to have given up on saving even what can be saved. Incredible and incomprehensible slip for a mangaka with a similar track record, which leaves us with some questions about his future. The hope is to see him again soon with a new masterpiece at the levels of Jigokuraku.
