The new OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone is on sale from today for only 399 euros. The device is equipped with a 50MP main camera, Sony IMX 766 sensor, OIS, Warp Charge 65 and 4500mAh battery, as well as a flagship chipset from MediaTek – Dimensity 1200- AI.
With an announcement arrived in the morning, OnePlus announces the opening of sales throughout Europe for its latest smartphone in the Northern line. We are talking about the brand new OnePlus Nord 2 5G, available in Blue Haze and Gray Sierra. The durable, fingerprint-resistant device can be ordered from the company’s official website and on Amazon.
The new smartphone, which we had reviewed here, is the successor of the first North last year. Compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G offers uncompromising performance. These are based on artificial intelligence, with a more intelligent camera system, which does not make it comparable with a flagship. In fact, the device includes a 50 MP main camera, the Sony IMX 766 sensor, OIS, Warp Charge 65 and the 4500mAh battery of the OnePlus 9 series.
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G features MediaTek’s flagship chipset: Dimensity 1200-AI, a OnePlus exclusive, powered with a number of features based on artificial intelligence. This improves the user experience, and with OnePlus’ OxygenOS software offering users a fast, fluid and versatile experience. The 8MP wide-angle camera guarantees a 119.7-degree field of view, along with a 32MP selfie camera with Sony IMX615 sensor. This is among the highest resolution front cameras on a OnePlus device. It also features a 6.43-inch AMOLED fluid display, with 90Hz refresh rate. The device will ship with OxygenOS 11.3, which is OnePlus’s fastest and most responsive software so far.
OxygenOS 11 offers significant improvements such as Dark Mode, Zen Mode, convenient one-handed use and various Always on Display (AOD) options, with further customizations, gestures and customizations designed for gaming such as the new OnePlus Games app on OxygenOS 11.3. The device also features a powerful pair of stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience and Haptics 2.0 to provide smoother and more sensitive tactile feedback. In addition, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will receive two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.
The 8GB RAM version with 128GB ROM will be available starting at 399 euros. Instead the 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB ROM will be available from 499 euros.
