Onyx BOOX Tab Ultra C, e-Ink tablet with pastel colors

Onyx today introduces its first color ePaper tablet, BOOX Tab Ultra C. It is the successor to Tab Ultra and includes the Android operating system, a powerful dedicated GPU, the exclusive BOOX Refresh technologyan octa-core processor Qualcomm it’s a 16MP camera. Also, the display E Ink Kaleido 3 da 300ppi offers a color experience, to combine entertainment and productivity with a long battery life.

Tab Ultra C is the first BOOX device to use the new display Kaleido 3which guarantees a resolution of 300ppi in black and white mode and 150ppi in color modeshowing a range of 4096 colors.

The display is from 50% thinner than previous models, for a more natural writing feel, and the e-Ink’s anti-reflection feature allows you to work even in direct sunlight. Vision is optimized thanks to E Ink technology ComfortGazeTMdesigned to adapt vision both day and night with front lighting adjustable in both intensity and tone.

Technology BOOX Super RefreshTM powered by a powerful octa-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 and a dedicated GPU allows for maximum fluidity. You can thus choose between four different refresh modes adapted to various applications, such as reading, writing, and using apps.

Tab Ultra C include 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, which can be expanded with a microSD. Like the black and white model, it also has a 16MP rear camera with the functions of scanning documents and recognizing text.

Maximum productivity

Tab Ultra C supports naturally 24 digital formats and therefore you can make color notes on any document that it is compatible without having to change it, and keeping everything synchronized on the various devices in real time. The Notes app that is already on the tablet also has many tools that serve to stimulate creativity and make work more effective.

You can connect to the most used cloud solutions for maximum productivity. And in the standard package there is also the penna BOOX Pen2 Pro, which has an eraser on the back, making it more convenient to take notes. One can also be purchased separately 2-in-1 magnetic keyboard coverwhich secures the tablet and becomes an external keyboard when attached to the side pogo pins of the tablet.

From today it is possible to pre-order the BOOX Tab Ultra C on the official store euroshop.boox.com for €649,99. Those who do it by May 10 will also be able to buy the cover with keyboard for only €50 instead of €109.99. The official store will begin shipping the tablet in the second week of May, while it will be available on Amazon.it from the following week.
