The news was reported by Bloomberg, first reported to Blizzard Entertainment staff and then also confirmed by a spokesperson at Activision Blizzard. Sonny will continue to work in the company until Friday of this week, after which the release will take effect. In an email also received from Bloomberg, the new co-leaders of Blizzard Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra they defined it as a “Thoughtful leader” and they said they were grateful for the work done within the company.
