Panasonic introduces the new 6,000lm PT-FRQ60 projector

Panasonic has announced the availability of the new 1-chip DLP PT-FRQ60 projector, featuring 6,000lm brightness. The new projector offers flawless reproduction of details, colors and movements and is designed to interact with applications in a wide variety of contexts, including offices, STEM classrooms, digital museums and eSports entertainment venues.

Panasonic has combined “Quad Pixel Drive” functionality with its proven “SOLID SHINE 1 Chip DLP” laser projection technology to reproduce smooth, sharp and detailed 4K images for even more immersive content. 240H image processing enhances the sense of realism by translating the smallest motifs into smooth images. The “Rich Color Enhancer” feature ensures accurate colors, aimed at retransmission of content faithful to the original. The new projector faithfully reproduces even fast-paced action thanks to a frame rate of up to 240Hz / 1080p with latency of less than 8ms

In addition, the PT-FRQ60 is compatible with Panasonic’s ET-SWR10 real-time tracking projection mapping system – a ready-to-use software development kit that allows projection onto fast-moving objects at up to 240 frames per second. and this expands the creative possibilities in contexts such as theme parks, interactive museum exhibits and numerous other applications.

For convenient integration into 4K infrastructure, the PT-FRQ60 includes two HDMI inputs compatible with CEC command, that allow you to have control over switching the projector on and off from the source device; while the single-cable DIGITAL LINK solution supports the transmission of video and control signals over long distances.
Flexible 2.0x optical zoom, lens V / O shift and geometric adjustment with Free Grid allow you to adjust image position and remove distortion without having to use a PC. In addition, the PT-FRQ60 comes with pre-installed upgrade kits for Geometry Manager Pro that allow you to automate Edge Blending via the camera, expand the range of screen adjustments and add sophisticated masking capabilities.

For reliable, low-maintenance projection, Panasonic’s filterless, liquid cooling system contributes to high image quality and enables up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. Multi Monitoring & Control Software streamlines fleet management and control, while optionally available Early Warning Software prevents unexpected outages by sending an alert before problems occur.
