Pierluigi Collina is the new protagonist of the Vodafone campaign made for the launch of Curve Bike light & GPS tracker. The new all-in-one solution designed for cyclists’ safety arrives on the market accompanied by a promotional campaign featuring the iconic former football referee, nominated by FIFA for six consecutive times as “Best referee of the year”.
In the video accompanying the promotional campaign, Collina becomes the first Vodafone Assistant Road Referee (VARR). The aim of the campaign is to draw attention to the issue of safety for cyclists and motorists.
The protagonist of the Vodafone campaign, in addition to the former referee, is the new one Curve Bike light & GPS tracker. The device offers cyclists GPS tracking, impact and accident detection. There is also an alert service that allows you to warn in the event of unexpected movement of the bike or to send notifications to family and friends.
Here are the words of Pierluigi Collina on the new campaign: “Today, with so many people riding bikes for the first time, it’s more important than ever to make our roads safer by putting a stop to the opposition between cyclists and motorists. The VAR has helped the beautiful game of football and I believe that our new concept, the VARR, can be a tool to monitor what is happening on the streets and ensure that everyone plays by the same rules there. “
