The time to walk all together is back: Niantic, a software development company that has created gaming apps based on AR technology such as Pokémon GO, has announced the latter Community Day of Pikmin Bloom. On Saturday 18 December, all day long, the seedlings in the planter backpack of all users will grow faster, up to 1.5 times faster and even more in flower planter mode.
On the occasion of the Community Day many megaflowers they will turn into poinsettias, planting blue, red, yellow or white petals around them. In addition, players who log at least 10,000 steps in their diary on this day will receive a special poinsettia badge on their profile, to keep as a memento for participating in the event.
Niantic listened to player feedback on last Community Day and for this reason the time limit. Finally, in order for the mega-flower poinsettia to be displayed correctly and the badge to be applied to your profile, you must update the app to the latest version before participating in Community Day.
In short, the new VR game is definitely trying to adapt your play offer to the needs of fans, which is certainly a positive element and which could be decisive for the long-term success of the application. It is likely that in the future we will see many other events of this type, perhaps with the introduction of new Pikmin.
