Over 60 million games have been redeemed thanks to the Sony initiative called Play At Home, born as a result of the global pandemic

When the COVID-19 pandemic began in April 2020, Sony Interactive Entertainment, to help players launched the initiative Play At Home with which he gave away numerous games to help people have fun at home in total safety. The Play At Home campaign was an extraordinary success according to SIE’s data, in fact more than 60 million games in total. Among these 11 million are titles for PS VR and 30 million instead come from independent partners. Instead, there are 4 million add-ons redeemed by players for the titles they already own.

Among the titles proposed with the initiative Play At Home we remember: in April 2020 The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey. Instead, between March and April 2021 Ratchet & Clank, the 2016 title, plus 3 months of free subscription to Funimation and Wakanim were offered. In April and May 2021, on the other hand, Horizon: Zero Dawn was given as a gift and 10 games between PS VR titles and some famous indie titles, such as Abzu. Finally, in May and June 2021, several add-ons and in-game content arrived for many popular games. Sony is very satisfied with the results that have helped many people to better endure the lockdown period.
