A new adventure on the track for Andrea Levyentrepreneur and CEO of 777 Hypercar and creator of the MIMO Milano Monza Motor Show, who on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 May will participate in the first race of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy 2023broadcast live by Sky and Cielo.

It is a full-blown debut for the gentleman driver who has several victories in the Time Attack aboard the Dallara Stradale and the Ferrari Club Italia Trophy at the wheel of the Ferrari 296.

Andrea Levy will participate in the category Michelin Cup of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia 2023 in the Raptor Engineering team managed by the titled driver and test driver Andrew Palmawhich also sees in the team the promising young Lorenzo Ferrari and the Sicilian Giuseppe Guirreri.

The novelty on the occasion of this year’s competition

Drivers and teams will test themselves with the new format of the competition. The crux of the changes made to the sporting regulations is related to the qualification formatwhich now include a single 40-minute session: the best time achieved by each driver/car determines the starting grid for race 1, while the second best time achieved determines the starting grid for race 2.

Another novelty is the two-minute extension of the distance of each race: the duration of both, therefore, increases from 28 minutes to 30 minutes + 1 lap. Only the most advanced model of the 911 GT3 Cup, signed “992”, will be admitted to the start and will be used up to and including the 2026 season.

The consequence is the elimination of the Silver Cup, which until last year allowed the adoption of previous generations. The competition will therefore concern the run-up to the overall title and that of the Michelin Cup (confirmed for drivers over 30 classified as FIA “bronze”, non-professionals). A new adrenaline-pumping appointment for Andrea Levy who thus confirms his total passion for four wheels, on the track and beyond.
