Kalypso Media and Gaming Minds Studios Announce Official Port Royale 4 Release Date on PS5 and Xbox Series X | Yes, complete with a free upgrade for title holders

Port Royale will put you in the shoes of an ambitious as much as young and inexperienced governor, intent on managing and making his colony in the Caribbean more and more flourishing, all in the golden age of piracy. The title had genuinely amazed, in its console version of the last generation, for a technical and graphic sector, as well as a stylistic one, truly exceptional for being a management system. The same thing obviously did not happen on Nintendo Switch, where Port Royale 4 remains indisputably interesting and fun to play, especially in the portable version, but with a significant drop in performance and aesthetic impact. Rumored for some time, the porting of Port Royale 4 on the current gen console has finally been announced, complete with a trailer and release date, by the developers of Gaming Minds Studios. The game will arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X | On September 10th and those who have already purchased the game on PS4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the next generation version for free, at no additional cost. On this occasion, Gaming Minds Studios and the publisher Kalypso Media have also released a new trailer, which we leave you right below.

The version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S of Port Royale 4 will offer players support for the 4K resolution (1080p on Xbox Series S), compatibility for i cross-gen saves and many other technical features. Both the standard edition and the extended digital editions will be available, the latter including some additional content. A physical version will also be available, called the Extended Edition.
