ProGaming Italia: scholarship for the Master in Esports Management

Over the past few years, the gaming and esports sector has witnessed a rapid evolution. According to the Italian Esports Observatory, more than 60% of Italians play video games, placing our country in fourth place in Europe. Furthermore, Esports are now in the top 10 of the most followed competitions in Italy in the 18-24 age group. No longer just pure entertainment, but also new professional opportunities in the management field.

In this regard and given the market scenario, ProGaming Italia (PGI), a leading company for over 20 years in the organization of events dedicated to exports, has decided to continue to focus on training and to renew the scholarship for the fifth edition of the Executive Master in Esports Management, created by MasterEsports Institute e School of Management LUM, which will begin on May 28th.
Designed to explore its dynamics and offer the necessary tools both to young graduates – looking for a professional path in a rapidly growing field – and to professionals and specialists already active in the sector who want to consolidate and enrich their knowledge, the master is positioned as a path of excellence, with speakers of absolute lineage such as Daniel SchmidhoferCEO of ProGaming Italia, who will bring to the classroom, in the “Esports Events Planner” module, the know-how of physical and online events, sharing the most successful methodologies and experiences with the participants.

The scholarship will cover the entire cost of the training course for the online version of the Master and will be awarded through a call for applications. The applications are open until Sunday, May 15, 2022 . Following the publication of the ranking, the first 5 candidates will have the opportunity to access the final interviews with a commission composed of ProGaming Italia and the MasterEsports Institute.

This initiative is not only an incredible training opportunity, but also a way to start a career in the sector right away. In fact, at the end of the academic path, PGI will offer a 6-month internship contract at its headquarters, during which the scholarship holder will be able to show his talent and put into practice what he learned during the Master.
