Sony has recently officially confirmed the free games of the PS Plus Essential service for February 2023: obviously yes, they are the ones that had already been leaked…
By now it has become a habit: every month the leak of the free PlayStation Plus games of the next one comes out. This has been going on for practically years now. Precisely following the rumors leaked on the net the day before yesterday, Sony has confirmed in these hours what will be the titles that subscribers to the PlayStation Plus Essential service (the first tier, to be clear, of the new reorganization of Sony subscriptions) will be able to redeem starting next February 7th. Let’s discover them together.
First of all we remind you that you have until February 7th to redeem the January Plus Essential free games, namely Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order (PS5/PS4), Fallout 76 (PS4) and Axiom Verge 2 (PS5/PS4). Remember to redeem them and add them to your library, so you can play them even after they are no longer part of the subscription service. And in February, what awaits us?
The first free title with the February 2023 Plus Essential is OlliOlli World (PS5/PS4), of which we recently explored the colorful and vast DLC in a dedicated review (click here, however, for the one relating to the base game). OlliOlli World is a platform game based on skateboarding, the third installment of the homonymous series and currently available on all current and past generation platforms (as well as, of course, on PC). February’s second free title is Mafia Definitive Edition (PS4) which, most likely, needs no great introduction, a remake of an iconic chapter of an equally iconic series, which has marked the past of many gamers.
Continue with Evil Dead: The Game (PS5/PS4), a survival horror game based on the popular Evil Dead franchise, released in May 2022 on current and last generation consoles as well as PC. Finally, as the fourth and last title of this PlayStation Plus Essential of February 2023, we find Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PS5/PS4), Destiny 2’s fifth expansion pack originally released in November 2020.
