Through a press release, Netflix has released a new trailer and poster of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, prequel to the beloved series

Queen Charlotte, original title Queen Charlotte (here you can find all the information!) is the prequel to Bridgerton arriving on May 4th to expand the already vast catalog of Netflix TV series. In the past few hours, via press release, Netflix and Shondaland have unveiled a new trailer, poster and new images. Find everything in this article, both the movie and the poster.

The synopsis is as follows:

Dedicated to the rise to power of Queen Charlotte, this prequel to the Bridgerton universe tells how the marriage of the young queen to King George represented not only a great love story, but also a social change, leading to the birth of the high English society in which the Bridgerton characters live.

Queen Charlotte is a miniseries that Shonda Rhimes is behind as Showrunner, Executive Producer and Screenwriter. To the Director and as Executive Producer we find Tom Verica and, in the latter role, also Betsy Beers. In the cast we find the following actors: Golda Rocheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury) e Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet Bridgerton) reprise their Bridgerton roles in this miniseries. India Amarteifio (Line of Duty) plays a young Queen Charlotte, Michelle Fairley (Gangs of London) Princess Augusta, Corey Mylchreest (The Sandman) the young King George, and Arsema Thomas young Agatha Danbury. Also starring Sam Clemmett (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – West End and Broadway, The War Below) as young Brimsley, Freddie Dennis (The Nevers) in those of Reynolds e Richard Cunningham (The Witcher) in those of Lord Bute. In the end, Then Kasim (Nancy Drew) interpreta Adolphus, Rob Maloney (Casualty) the royal doctor, Cyril Nri (Cucumber) Lord Danbury, e Hugh Sachs (Bridgerton 1 & 2) Brimsley (as an elder).
