Return to Monkey Island: in arrivo per PC nel 2022

That’s right, you got it right, one of the best sagas in the field of graphic adventures is about to return to PC screens with a new chapter entitled Return to Monkey Island! After i first rumors appeared on the joking blog of Ron Gilbert, practically the main author of this and much more, the hopes of fans have finally come true. But let’s go ahead with some order.

Return to Monkey Island: Ron Gilbert e Dave Grossman back in action

Developed by Devolver and Lucasfilm Games have therefore announced, through a trailer that we leave you below, that Return to Monkey Island will make its appearance on PC screens in course this year. And never news could have been better, especially for purists who have turned their noses up a bit for the third chapter (we talked about it more in depth here).

From the trailer, however, it is not that much is understood. We see in fact the cute Murray skull along with two other skeletons on a dock, one carries boxes and another plays the violin, the return of thewinning pairing Ron Gilbert – Dave Grossman and the title that shows under an unspecified one 2022. The questions, therefore, only increase since, for the moment, no other details have been disclosed.

From these few seconds of animation however, it can be hypothesized that the game will have much more cartoon graphics, like the last chapters or the remastered versions of the first ones, and that of course it will always be point and click. After all, series like this one or Syberia, have “accustomed” their players well by combining puzzles and humor. Let’s hope for the best!
