We go from having an excellent black and white, to “opaque”, “cinematic” and “seasonal” renders. Certainly a great help for those who want to have a little bit of everything on hand without spending too much money. Of course, even to “try” is fine.

The black and white presets supplied are 4 of the “Black & White Styles” package and offer 2 presets with “clean” rendering and two presets with “film” rendering.
Then we have 4 presets taken from “Cinematic Styles“, Phase One has selected the ones that have proved to be the most appreciated and used by photographers all over the world.
We then have 4 other presets from the “Matte Styles”. This package, among those I tried, is subjectively the one I appreciated the most. The matte rendering in some genres is truly priceless.
Finally there are also 4 presets taken from the “Seasonal Styles“. Which opens the doors of this package to portrait painters as well.

And therefore it is easy to understand how this package is aimed mainly at the amateur photographer who wants to try everything a little, or to those who practice many different genres but do not want to invest too much in post production software. A very well structured package that provides an excellent base to start your own post production and / or pave the way for the finer tweaks thanks to the advanced features of Capture One Pro.
