In the past few hours, some rumors regarding the arrival on the PC of Sackboy: A Big Adventure have begun to meander on the net, following a cataloging by SteamDB
Sony’s recent new policy has led many of its exclusives, albeit with several years of delay, to also land on PCs around the world. The latest, in chronological order, was 2018’s God of War, preceded by Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone. Furthermore, Sony itself acquired Nixxes Software, famous mainly for having collaborated on the creation of the latest Tomb Raider and Marvel’s Avengers, but strongly specialized in the processing of PC ports. In short, the strategy and the route seem quite clear and, perhaps, in the past few hours the next exclusive title that will arrive in the PC libraries has already been revealed.
According to a rumor (coming from a Reddit user, such penguin6245) started circulating on the net in the past few hours, in fact, a catalog that would refer to Sackboy: A Big Adventure would appear on SteamDB. We remind you that the title was released almost a year ago on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and belongs to the universe created since 2008 with Little Big Planet.
The references to Sumo Digital, which took care of the PS4 and PS5 versions, and to the recent GeForce NOW leak, from which the port of God of War also emerged, give hope that it is Sackboy. All this, however, still remains very smoky and it is always a rumor. The fact that the cataloging was subsequently canceled makes everything even more suspicious, but we are waiting for official confirmations that, at this point, should not be long in coming if everything were true.
Whether or not it arrives on PC, we consider Sackboy: A Big Adventure an essential title for all lovers of platformers and, why not, of the Little Big Planet universe.
