Russian attacks on Elon Musk’s Starlink network increase

Russia has intensified cyber attacks on satellite internet networks active in Ukraine and also Starlink it has to deal with new attack attempts from the Russian front. The confirmation came directly from Elon Musk who, on Twitter, shared a Reuters article confirming how Starlink also has to deal with cyber attacks from Russia today. Here’s what’s happening on the digital front:

The Starlink satellite network is among the main objectives of the cyber attacks from Russia in Ukraine. Such attacks are reported to be intensifying, contributing to aggravate the situation in the country. Elon Musk on his very active Twitter profile also highlighted the problem. Even the Starlink network has to deal with continuous cyber attacks coming from pro-Russian hackers.

The situation is, for the moment, under control but the attacks could become more and more intense in the near future. We will see what the evolution on the issue will be. The war in Ukraine, however, is becoming more and more “cyber” and in the coming weeks there may be further news on what we can define as the “digital front”. Control of satellite networks becomes a central element at this time of conflict.
