Academy Award Winning Actress Helen Mirren Joins Shazam Cast! Fury of the Gods, sequel to the successful 2019 film

The Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren, joins the cast of Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the sequel to the DC Comics hero starring Zachary Levi. Mirren will play the role of the main villain Hesperia, daughter of Atlas (although the character does not have a clear DC Comics counterpart, but it is still the name of numerous characters of the publishing house inspired by the Titan of Greek mythology).

The actress joins Rachel Zegler recently entered a “secret role” in the cast of the sequel, which will again be directed by David F. Sandberg.

Thanks to the official entry of Helen Mirren in the cast of the film, hypotheses also begin to circulate on the role of Sailor. Mirren, in fact, seems to be giving the face of the villain of the film Wait, the daughter of Atlante, who would be linked to the character of Zegler, as the two actresses should play “sisters with intentions that may not be the best”.
