Slack down: what’s going on?

Slack is down for many users. According to what was revealed by the official website and the Twitter account, the Slack messaging app stands experiencing some problems. Many users fail to send e to receive messages: others, however, fail to log into the platform. Let’s find out what is happening together.

On all social media, users complained. Many of them stated that, while trying to access chat rooms, the app was taking more time than expected to load. To others, however, it didn’t charge in the slightest and it was impossible send or receive messages.

Slack’s status page also reveals that the platform is “not working for some users,” and indicates that the problems started around 9:25 am ET. The most recent update arrived at 10:23 am ET. However Slack points out that he is “continuing to investigate the cause” and promises to deliver further information on the problem “as soon as they are available”.

However, it seems that the problem is rather widespread, with a number of users complaining on Twitter and a huge spike of issues reported on Down Detector. Despite this there are some people who have not encountered any problems with the application.
