Snapchat for Web, the computer version arrives

From today you can enjoy the best of Snapchat even from yours computer: arriva Snapchat for Web, which allows you to chat and video call directly from the browser. The functionality initially becomes available to users of the Snapchat+ residing in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. But it will soon become accessible also in France, Germany, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, up to and including the communities around the world.

To access the new functionality, the Snapchatters they just need to visit website.snapchat.com. Once you arrive on the landing page that you also see on the cover, you can log in with your login credentials.

At this point you can immediately restart conversations where you left them on your phone. You are simply replacing the smartphone con a larger, more comfortable screen.

Snap promises that on your computer you will be able to make the most of the same features of the mobile app. In other words, you can send Snap e Chat Reaction, Chat Reply e In-Chat Presence. Also, new Lenses are coming soon, which you can use for video calling.

This new convenience, as the Snapchat team always points out, does not in any way compromise the attention to privacy and security of social users. So much so that you can even hide the Snapchat window with a simple click on another point on the screenin order to hide any conversation in case someone enters your room or office.

Between streaming content, smart working and online education, social media users spend more and more time on the computer, therefore Snap thought to come up with this really handy new feature.
