Spotify launches Wrapped 2022 and reveals which are the most listened to songs of the year

Dominating the ranking of the most listened to artists on Spotify in 2022 is he, the bad Puerto Rican rabbit: Bad Bunny. The metric relating to the revival ratings is also interesting. Spotify Wrapped analyzed the most listened to songs released at least 20 years ago in 2022. Without too many surprises, in first place, there is Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God) by Kate Bush. A song from 1986 that has literally been rediscovered by the new generations thanks to Stranger Things.

In second place and third place in this special classification are two songs directly from the year 2000: Yellow dei Coldplay and The Real Slim Shady Eminem. Unsurprisingly, the most listened to Italian artists globally are i Moonlight (to the delight of their haters). Italian music makes half the world dance as evidenced by the second place of the house trio MEDUSA and the third position of the inimitable Gabriel Ponte. They close the Top 5 of the most listened to Italians abroad Ludovico Einaudi e Depth. The most streamed female artist in the world is though Laura Pausinipresent in the Top 10.

Also this year the Italian Spotify charts of 2022 see him excel: Ebbasta sphere. They follow Lazza e Thasup. Globally the most listened to Spotify podcast of 2022 is The Joe Rogan Experience, pace of Neil Young who had argued with the format at the beginning of the year. Call Her Daddy, Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain, Case 63 and Crime Junkie follow in the standings.

In Italy, the most listened to podcast is The Essential, which steals the first position from Muschio Selvaggio by Luis Sal e Fedez (who, however, are satisfied with the second position). Stories podium closes.
