State of Play: Sony announces an upcoming date for June

Sony has announced the date and time of the next State of Play (set for June) which will be dedicated to third-party news and more

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has announced that it will stream a new presentation State of Play in data Thursday June 2. The same will be displayed on Twitch o YouTube and comes about 2 months after the last State of Play; the start of the presentation is set at hours 23:59 (Italian time). The next State of Playexpected on June 2will include nearly 30 minutes of announcements and updates on PlayStation games: “We have some interesting revelations from our partners at third partsas well as a preview of several games in development for PlayStation VR2“Said Brett Elston, SIE’s senior communications manager.

Ryan also stated that PlayStation will release two live service titles not announced before April 2023 and that the company expects half of its annual releases will be up PC and mobile devices by 2025, at which point it will split its investments equally between existing franchises and new IPs.

Despite some launch issues, Ryan also stated that the market’s initial reaction to the new PlayStation Plus service it was “extremely positive”. Sony Pictures Entertainment announced Thursday that the company is working on adaptations of God of War, Horizon and Gran Turismo.
