Pamela Mead boasts over 15 years of experience in team management of design in companies ranging from Tefefónica to Delivery Hero, to Yahoo! Mobile. Specialized in the use of innovative technologiesPamela played a key role inSumUp’s holistic approach to integrated payment technologies.

Pamela joined the team of SumUp in autumn 2019leading the team of Design. The goal was to transform SumUp’s services into an ecosystem of powerful and customized payment solutions, able to offer all merchants the tools they need to manage their business.

The work of Pamela and her team was key to promoting SumUp storytelling as a service that goes beyond the “simple” payment terminal.

Since joining SumUp, Pamela and her team have implemented a research to generate SumUp’s UX strategy.

In this way, Pamela contributed to satisfy the needs of SumUp merchants. It has allowed them to work at their best even in a difficult time for small businesses. Arguing accessibility as central and priority in product design, Pamela’s goal was therefore to create solutions that are effective, useful, but above all inclusive for all merchants.
