Following the events of the SWORD ART ONLINE anime series Alicization, the game sees Kirito in a mysterious but at the same time familiar virtual world; in this world, AIs are so advanced that they can be mistaken for human beings.

Players will take on the role of Kirito and will have the opportunity to relive the series’ thrilling scenes through intense fighting. Fan-favorite characters will cross in the footsteps of players, including Eugeo, Alice, Administrator and many others. A wide world awaits Kirito and his friends in this faithful adaptation of Sword Art Online Alicization.

Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is the latest title based on one of the most famous anime stories ever conceived and will transport Nintendo players to the incredible virtual world of Underworldset in the Alicization arc.

Players will enter a world imbued with the unique essence of JRPG graphics and they will immerse themselves in an exciting endless battle action-packed with highly evolved gameplay.

As revealed by Bandai Namco, the Nintendo Switch version of the title will also include the first four free updates of the arch Ancient Apostles. At the moment, a release date or a possible launch window has not yet been announced, we only know that the title will debut on Nintendo Switch during the 2022.
