Technics announces the new AZ60 and AZ40 True Wireless earphones

Technics has launched two new models of auricolari true wireless: AZ60 e AZ40. Both models are equipped with a very high quality audio to provide an exceptional listening experience, whether on a conference call or during music playback.

Thanks to the unique design of the acoustic chamber with i driver da 8 mm, headphones AZ60 offer rich sound that spreads smoothly. Inside the 8mm Advanced Dynamic Driver is a diaphragm in biocellulose, robust and flexible at the same time, delivering pure and authentic audio, with crisp bass and smooth highs.

In addition, AZ60 supports the high resolution audio quality with tecnologia Bluetooth and LDAC, delivering a wide dynamic range of sounds with fast, high-definition response.

The AZ40s have slightly smaller dynamic drivers (6 mm) but still advanced. This new model has been enhanced with an acoustic control chamber and harmonizer to deliver clear, diffuse and deep sound, while maintaining a compact design.

To ensure noise-proof audio, Technics has equipped the new True Wireless AZ60 and AZ40 with the exclusive JustMyVoice technology. I two MEMS microphones isolate and enhance the vocal sounds while beamforming technology reduces background noise, for crystal clear conversation even in the noisiest environments, such as public transport or crowded centers. In the AZ60 model, the total eight microphones on the left and right ear play a fundamental role in ensuring a more comfortable and natural telephone conversation.

Technics has equipped its earphones with two Ambient Sound modes: “Natural” e “Attention“, To provide control over the audible background noise level. The “Natural” mode captures all the underlying noises; that “Attention” only captures his in the frequency range of the human voice. All settings are editable via the Technics Audio Connect application. In addition to this, the AZ60 and AZ40 headphones are equipped with the wind noise reduction and they have IPX4 waterproof certification, to use them virtually anywhere.

The AZ60 earphones have an autonomy of 7 hours with active noise cancellation and the custody can insure up to 24 hours of autonomy. AZ40 instead 7.5 hours on a charge and the case supports 25 hours of playback. You can also quickly recharge the earphones, getting 70 minutes of playback with 15 minutes of charge for the AZ60 and 90 minutes for the AZ40. Headphones support connection multi-device and up to 10 devices can be connected.

Price and availability

Both models will be available starting October 2021. The AZ60 model will be available in silver and black, while the AZ40 model will be available in silver, black and rose gold. The target price suggested to the public will be respectively € 229.99 and € 149.99.
