This new Bluetooth mini / speaker is available in five different colors. While it has a really small size, it still has impressive acoustics for any occasion. In addition, it is water resistant in accordance with the standard IPX7 and comes with a rubberized body which offers additional impact protection.
It has a powerful full range driver and two passive bass drivers based on the push-pull principle for high levels without distortion. Plus, thanks to the ingenious strap and GoPro compatible thread the BOOMSTER Go can be attached to everything from backpack to belt or wherever else you want.
It owns various ways of usesuch as Bluetooth for streaming music from Spotify, Apple Music, TuneIn and mode synchro-labial da Youtube, Netflix, ecc.. Hands-free function, dedicated button for Siri / Google Assistant callcontrol buttons located on the device, battery level indicated by LED.
The product arrived in an unconventional package. Very small, covered by the protective film, without an external box where the name, image and characteristics of the product are usually shown. Inside, we find the inevitable instruction manual in the foreground. Once the manual is removed, we find our Bluetooth speaker and its USB cable.
At first glance, selling such a small device, I had the impression that it could be “fragile”. However, taking the speaker out of the box and touching it with my hand, I changed my mind. To the touch it seems really sturdy and resistant. Then, thanks to its manufacturing material and thick-walled plastics, it was made safe from water and dust, so you can take it with you even in the wildest places.
I have tried the speaker with various devices. The first connection was not very fast, but then otherwise the operation and the coupling with other devices was much better. Strong and precise sound, with high levels despite the small size. Manageable from the smartphone or directly from near. The class D power amplifier and the intelligent Power Management function ensure a long playing time (think that with a full charge I have used it for about 8 hours and it had not yet discharged).
The pairing between speaker and device is not always very fast (but perhaps it is a problem that has depended on my devices). The sound is great, in fact, of many bluetooth speakers that I had the opportunity to test, this was the best in relation to the price and size of the voice and bass. So if you like clean sound and that extra low kick, play it safe with the Boomster go. And let’s not forget that they are waterproof and shockproof,
Negative note, the fact that this speaker was created specifically to be “lying”, while positioned vertically does not seem to have much stability. In fact, even placing it on one of the two sides where the passive radiators are positioned, it does not seem to stand up very well. The last flaw, if I can call it that, is the lack of a USC-C port.
