After a successful 2016 release for PC, Xbox and PlayStation, No Man’s Sky is preparing to land on Nintendo Switch. Announcing this are Hello Games and Bandai Namco Europe, who have revealed that the popular science fiction game will arrive on Nintendo consoles on October 7, 2022. The title will be available for purchase in both physical and digital format (via Nintendo eShop). A physical edition for PlayStation 5 will also be released on the same day.
The announcement comes accompanied by a statement Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games, the UK-based game development team, said: “I think users will be amazed when they can finally play this title on such a small and portable device. It’s like having an entire universe in the palm of your hand. It was a huge undertaking, but also a very rewarding one for our small team and I am really proud of the final result. “
During these 6 years since the official launch, No Man’s Sky has received a total of 20 major content updates. THE Switch players can therefore expect the full launch and further updates in the future. The game consists of exploring an almost infinite number of planets, each with their own unique life forms. Players will have to discover, build, trade and most importantly try to survive in this vast intergalactic scenario.
