The Book of Boba Fett, the new series of the Star Wars universe, is coming to Disney + on December 29th
After the post credit scene at the end of the second season of The Mandalorian it was immediately understood that the already vast universe of Star Wars it was about to expand further with a new story. The Book of Boba Fett is a thrilling Star Wars adventure anticipated in a surprise post-credit scene following The Mandalorian season 2 finale. The series sees the return of the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett in the company of the mercenary Fennec Shand: the two return to the sands of Tatooine to reclaim the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and its criminal organization.
The series about the character of Boba Fett is the first of a long series of productions destined for the Disney + platform set in the Star Wars universe. In the coming months, the highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi will also be added to the catalog, which will rotate to the homonymous character, as well as the already announced Ahsoka and Andor. Fans are also waiting for the third season of The Mandalorian, of which filming has already begun.
The cast includes the participation of Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett, Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand e Jennifer Beals in those of Twi’IekFa. The series is created, as well as the previous The Mandalorian, by Jon favreau and produced by Lucasfilm.
